Science Under Sail

This week our Education Team joined Captain Tyler of A Morning in Maine to prepare for Science under Sail. Join us this summer to learn more about the ecology of the Penobscot Bay on a 55’ coastal ketch. We will examine and discuss how the water around us changes with the tides, currents and geography as we sail from coastal and estuarine environments all the way out to the briny deep–past Monroe Island we often sail in over 300+ feet of water! Our next Science under Sail is June 27th. Register here.
