Junior Marine Scientist Camp Session II

We enjoyed our second session of Junior Marine Scientist Camp which wrapped this past week. Campers enjoyed trips to Allen Island, Ash Point Preserve, and Friends of Maine Coastal Islands. The week also included clamming in Turkey Cove, kayaking in Muscongus Bay with Port Clyde Kayaks, and a squid dissection at our campus.

Maine students got to attend this camp for free thanks to a grant from the Maine Department of Education. We’re looking forward to our Marine Explorers camp starting next week.
