Junior Marine Scientist Camp Session I

Our first session of Junior Marine Scientist Camp wrapped up this past week. The students experienced looking at plankton under a microscope, kayaking in Muscongus Bay, clamming in Turkey Cove, making data art inspired by Jill Pelto, and using oceanographic equipment on the Morning in Maine.

Maine students got to attend this camp for free thanks to a grant from the Maine Department of Education. We are looking forward to the second session of Junior Marine Scientist Camp starting next week!
