Bucksport Middle School Educators Learn About Aquaponics

Educators from Bucksport Middle School came to Herring Gut Coastal Science Center for a 5-day aquaponics professional development and planning workshops. With the help of our Educational Programs Coordinator, Patrick Burnham, these educators are planning, prototyping and building a new aquaponics/makerspace/kitchen at their school for their students to benefit from. It was a great week learning about fish, plants, system design and lesson planning.
