Fresh to Salt August Professional Development Workshop

Aquatic Science Educator, Alaina Zyhowski, trained Maine teachers in 12 hours of watershed education in August. Alaina designed the Next Generation Science Standards integrated science unit for the middle school level, which can also be adapted for grades 5-12. Fresh to Salt connects middle school students, teachers, and conservation leaders through collaborative experiences within Maine’s watersheds. Watch Alaina talk more about this program here!
